The 2021-2022 school year is Mrs. McCormick's thirteenth year teaching in School District 5 of Lexington and Richland Counties. She started her career at Ballentine Elementary School teaching fifth grade for four years followed by seven years teaching language arts at CrossRoads Intermediate. This is her second year teaching in FIVE.
Mrs. McCormick received her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Carolina in 2009 and her Master's Degree in K-12 Curriculum and Instruction from Gardner-Webb University in 2019. She also earned her Administrator's Certification from Gardner-Webb and is currently working on a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership.
Mrs. McCormick loves reading, writing, baking, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Ian; her daughter, Maggie; and her puppies, Cap and Libby.
